Buy a Hammer, Build Our Community
The Home Depot Canada Foundation launching its 2011 Paper Hammer Campaign in Benefit of Local Charitable Organizations

Buy a 'paper hammer' for $2 from June 2 to July 3, 2011, at The Home Depotand help build affordable housing and stronger, more sustainable communities. All of the funds raised will support local charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Again this year, The Home Depot Canada Foundation will generously match the proceeds of its top-performing district, something that resulted in Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the Ontario South district receiving over $103,000 last year! In total, the 2010 Buy a Hammer, Build Our Community campaign raised $178,000 to support Habitat for Humanity's sustainable, affordable homebuilding projects in Canada.
